Shale Shaker Screens

Shale Shaker Screens are applicable to desilter desanders in oil drilling industry.

The screens are primarily classified into four types 


1) Hookstrip flat screens 

Hookstrip flat screens are the most widely applied series at present. The screen panel is constructed with two or three layers stainless steel bonded to a steel support plank. 

Accessory rubber plugs can be inserted to the rips or tears of the screen. By doing this, we can reduce the time and cost. Mesh sizes range from 12 to 325. 

2) Pyramid screens 

Pyramid screens are the replacement products of flat screens. The effective area is 125% to 150% of flat screens. Without changing the structure of shaker, the pyramid screens can improve the efficiency of drilling fluid greatly. Mesh sizes range from 60 to 325. 


3) Steel frame screens 

Steel frame screens are mostly applied to the shale shakers with wedge fastening equipment. The screen frames using high-strength square steel tube welded into multi-ribbed slab structure, sturdy and durable. These screens are constructed with two or three stainless steel layers bonded to a steel support plank. Accessory rubber plugs may be used to repair rips or tears. Mesh sizes range from 20 to 325. 


4) Hookstrip soft screens 

Hookstrip soft screens are used in the early shale shakers. The screen panel is stuck together with two stainless steel layers. The products have low costs and can be conveniently used. Mesh sizes range from 20 to 180.
